Moss.

moss_tree.jpgAnything and everything in the forest can relate to human lives one way or another. Most likely because we tend to define nature in our own prospect. So the question is not what I can relate to, but what I most relate to. There is something in that forest that goes unnoticed more than anything else, and yet tends to be everywhere. It is not the air, or wind, but the moss that grows in the damp areas of the woods. Not many people notice the moss, but the tree that the moss grows on. You do not see moss growing separately, rather it is always dependent on another living organism. Others may view it as a parasite that lives off other plants, incapable of providing for itself. But that's not how I see things. So maybe it can't live independently, but neither can I. I can't draw, I don't know how to write amazing pieces of literature, and I most definitely can't sustain myself. But it's because I can't do anything that others have to help me. I am not ashamed to accept that I need the support of others. And I think its safe for me to say that, if no one helps me, I wouldn't be able to survive.
